  Elie Wiesel (1928-)

Wiesel is the Nobel Prize-winning author whose book, Night, is about his personal experience in a Nazi concentration camp. He has educated thousands of people worldwide about a persecution that resulted in the deaths of over six million Jews. Through his foundation he continues to combat indifference, intolerance and injustice.
